I post this issue of the Chicago Review here because there is a discussion between the late Stan Brakhage and the late poet (from Topeka, Kansas), in Boulder, Colorado in 1996. The interview was conducted by me -such that it needed “conducting” - for the purpose of inclusion in my 1998 documentary, Brakhage. Like much of what I recorded during that time, it wasn’t usable at all in my introduction to Stan, but it made for good for print transcription. R.I.P.
